With its own internal staircase it has traditional decoration with a wealth of hanging pictures, predominantly of mountain vistas or representing alpine themes, making the ambience modern, the furnishings are sumptuous.

Ideally located in Winkelmatten, one of Zermatt’s most sought after areas, the chalet looks up at the Matterhorn and is only 5 minutes’ walk from the Matterhorn Express gondola. For much of the season, it is usually possible to ski back to within 200 metres of the front door via the Moos yellow run, whilst the bus stop is just outside the chalet.
Apartment Ulysse consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 bath/shower rooms and WC’s. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have their own TVs with DVD. All bathrooms have hairdryers and some of the rooms have safes.
The living, dining, kitchen area is open plan, situated on the first floor, and has an open fireplace and views toward the Matterhorn. The lounge area is equipped with a TV, DVD player and sound system. WiFi is throughout the chalet.
Additionally, on the lower ground floor there is a heated ski room with boot warmer and a relaxing “wellness” room with a sauna and rainfall shower where a range of massage and beauty treatments can be booked as an extra.
Infants’ cots and high chairs are available.
Apartment Ulysse can also be booked with the separate self-contained ground floor Argos Apartment (catering for up to 4) which is ideal for groups of up to 12 guests.
The apartment is particularly suitable for families with children with the Winkelmatten play park immediately opposite.

Spread over the top 2 floors of Chalet Ulysse, this apartment is spacious and comfortable. In the peaceful Winkelmatten area it still has easy access to the ski area with a bus stop right outside!
