Whether as a modern base for expeditions into the mountains of Zermatt, or as a suite with a private spa to indulge in each day, every guest will find their home at CERVO. Cervo is located at the end of the ski piste from Sunnegga, and sits directly above the lift station – so it’s as good as ski-in / ski-out.
The Cervo has a contemporary alpine style design – casual luxury, modern design, warm colours and natural materials.
Rooms & Suites
Nomad, Alpinist and Huntsman: three different facets from the same world. The lodges from these three categories sit in the grounds of the Cervo Mountain Resort. All accommodation has a unique view of the surrounding mountains.
The design is timelessly modern, with strong alpine elements and a warm atmosphere, inspired by the colors and elements of nature in Zermatt.
The 4 star NOMAD offers rooms and suites for 2 to 6 guests, all of which have access to the Honesty Bar in the Nomad Lounge. All beds are handmade Hästens beds (superbly comfortable!), have ensuite bathrooms with either a shower or bath, Soeder toiletries, a Samsung tablet and a balcony or terrace.
The 5 star ALPINIST offers rooms and suites for 2 to 4 guests, which also have access to the Honesty Bar in the Nomad Lounge. Again, all beds are the superbly comfortable handmade Hästens beds, have ensuite bathrooms with either a shower or bath, Soeder toiletries, a Samsung tablet, Fender Bluetooth speaker, Nespresso coffee machine, Cervo style mini bar, and either a balcony or terrace.
From the HUNTSMAN S to the HUNTSMAN TRIPLE SUITE, the 5 star rooms and suites offer guests exclusive accommodation of between 2 to 6 guests. Again with access to the Honesty Bar in the Nomad Lounge. This superb accommodation has the luxurious handmade Hästens beds, ensuite bathrooms with either a shower or bath, Soeder toiletries, large flat screen TV’s, a Samsung tablet, Fender Bluetooth speaker, Nespresso coffee machine, Cervo style mini bar, and a balcony or terrace. Some rooms have fireplaces, private sauna’s, some with private terraces with an outdoor bathtub. Mountain Ashram Spa
Various traditional bathing cultures from all over the world are combined in the Mountain Ashram Spa to create a unique flow at the foot of the Matterhorn. Inspired by Japanese Onsen, Bhutanese hot stone baths and the Northern European sauna art, the flow creates a local interpretation and turns them into something new.
There is also a small fitness area with gym in Chalet VII (Huntsman), where training can take place either alone or with a private trainer. This facility is provided as a supplement.
Restaurants
BAZAAR – Inspired by the lively markets of the East, the Bazaar is the heart of CERVO. This is the place where everyone gets together: modern nomads, explorers and locals. The atmosphere is relaxed, people chat, drink, meet, dine. The delicious dishes are 100% vegetarian and are served throughout the day.
FERDINAND – At Ferdinand, only Swiss products are used, most of them from the Valais itself, to create traditional Valais cuisine with a twist, such as fondue, raclette, and the many delicious Valaisian specialties. The contemporary interior of the chalet shows the modern side of the Zermatt mountain aesthetics.
MADRE NOSTRA – At Madre Nostra, modern Italian creations and refined classics are produced with all the wonderful treasures Mother Earth has to offer. All the ingredients come directly from local farms and fishermen to make sure that they reach your table as fresh as possible. From homemade pasta to delicious interpretations of grilled meat and fish, the Madre Nostra carries Italian cuisine in its heart and on its plate.
The Madre Nostra becomes the ‘Cervo Kitchen’ at lunchtimes.
Après Ski!
End your day on the slopes in style. Ski direct to one of the two terraces, located directly at the end of the piste to Zermatt. Highlights from live sessions to exclusive DJ sets and delicious drinks. With a stunning view of the Matterhorn and surrounded by warm hospitality, guests and locals alike celebrate the unique CERVO aprés feeling!
