The ski-in and ski-out Chalet Altesse, located in the serene area of Winkelmatten, on the edge of the alpine forests, offers four, exclusive, five star apartments with spectacular views toward the Matterhorn. Its unique location and luxurious accommodation create the perfect environment to relax and to enjoy a special winter holiday or summer hiking break.
The second floor apartment:
This apartment, along with the first floor, are identical in layout and are the largest apartments of the Chalet – 170 sq m. Featuring three bedrooms with three en-suite bathrooms. The Matterhorn, south facing, balcony is ideal for a sundowner or afternoon nap on the sun chair!
The second floor apartment consists of thee double/twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a jacuzzi bath in the en-suite, the other two en-suite bathrooms have rain showers with WC. One of the other bedrooms has Mattherhorn views through the window, you can lie in bed and enjoy the wonders of this mountain. Hairdryers and luxury toiletries are supplied in the bathrooms.
The large open plan living, dining, kitchen area features a log fire at its heart. The living area has a flat screen TV with DVD player and large sofa’s on which to relax on. Floor to ceiling windows and patio doors go out on to the south facing balcony. The kitchen is very well equipped with an induction cooker, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. WiFi is throughout the Chalet Altesse.
Situated on the lower ground floor is the wellness area, here guests can enjoy a Finnish sauna and steam/Hamman room. In the wellness area there is also a shower, relaxation room and separate WC.
Fresh croissant are delivered to the chalet every day and a welcome pack including homemade local jam is included. A mid-week clean is included in stays of 7 nights or more.
An elevator, or stairs, provide access to all floors and the chalet is wheelchair friendly.
Chalet Altesse was built according to Minergie standards and the apartments are continuously supplied with fresh air via an ecological ventilation system.
