Built in 1898 to provide hydro-electric power for the Gornergrat train, The Turbina is a unique place to hold your event. The Turbina provided power to the Gornergrat railway until 1947. In 2014 renovation of The Turbina began, resulting in an amazing, absolutely unique event venue where the possibilities are many! All with the Matterhorn in full view!

The Turbina is a versatile building and has been renovated to provide different solutions. From weddings to meetings to private dinners to parties to photoshoots it has the solution for your event. It even has a very special BBQ place outside!
Situated on the edge of Winkelmatten in Zermatt, The Turbina is a short 3 minute walk from where an electro taxi could drop you off. It is adjacent to Findelbach (Findeln river) in amongst the alpine forests – totally unique.
It is available to hire privately or with staff and also a local event management company could take care of all your needs in organizing your requirements.
