CHALET ULYSSE

Built in 2009, this charming chalet is laid out over four floors with separate outside access between the lower ground floor, the ground level apartment and main chalet which is a large duplex with its own internal staircase. Situated in Winklematten, Chalet Ulysse has a very peaceful location, yet is only a 5 minute walk to the Matterhorn Express lift station and there is a bus stop right outside the chalet.

Although traditional in decoration with a wealth of hanging pictures, predominantly of mountain vistas or representing alpine themes, the atmosphere is modern and the furnishings are sumptuous.

The main accommodation of the chalet is situated on the first and second floors, here there are 4 bedrooms (1 en-suite) and 3 bath/shower rooms with WC’s. The open plan living, dining, kitchen area is on the first floor with TV, DVD player, open log fire and a balcony with fantastic views of the Matterhorn.

On the ground floor is a separate 2 bed apartment which is connected to the upper floors by an external staircase. This accommodation has 1 bathroom and an open plan living, dining, kitchen area. The lounge has a TV, DVD player and open log fire.

The ground floor living area and one of the bedrooms opens onto the garden, with views toward the Matterhorn.

Some of the bedrooms have their own TV’s and DVD players. There is WiFi throughout the chalet with a sound system.

The whole chalet will accommodate 12 people and the large, beautiful, wooden dining table on the first floor will easily sit 12 people to enable everyone to come together for meals.

Additionally, on the lower ground floor there is a heated ski room with boot warmer and a relaxing “wellness” room with a sauna and rainfall shower where a range of massage and beauty treatments can be booked as an extra.
